The number of active departures varies according to the period and the destination island; the easiest island to reach from Sicily, both in high and low season, is Favignana, as it has about 25 daily departures in the winter period and 60 ferry departures during the summer.
Trapani Favignana ferry takes about 35 minutes by hydrofoil, while traveling by ferry the crossing can take up to 1 hour and 20 minutes. For all other destinations within the archipelago, the minimum travel time is 30 minutes by hydrofoil and up to 2 hours 40 minutes for the Trapani Marettimo ferry.

0 to 3 years old – Travel free, without seat entitlement. However, make sure to add your child to the ticket. All passengers must be included on the reservation.
Ages 4 to 11 years - reduction on the rate, exclusive of taxes or any surcharges.

🚗 Vehicle
If you decide to bring your vehicle on your trip to Favignana, which is the only of the Aegadians that can be reached by boarding your vehicle, you will have to travel by ferry, which has a garage and capable of transporting vehicles to the Aegadian Islands.
NB. Island of Favignana suffers traffic restriction, reinforced in summer period to avoid overloading of vehicles and pollution. Make sure you get the necessary documentation to be able to board your vehicle.

🍴 Food and entertainment
On board the Aegadian Islands ferry you can buy food and drinks for a quick snack or a drink. All ships have air conditioning, small lounges with TVs and outdoor areas. If you are traveling by hydrofoil, you cannot stay outside during the crossing due to security reasons.

All passengers with reduced mobility who need assistance can declare their presence at check-in and specify the type of assistance they need. The cabin crew will be on hand to ensure that all passengers have a pleasant crossing.

On all ferries and hydrofoils travelling to the Aegadian Island, you can travel without having to select a specific accommodation. On board the ferries you can sit wherever you like, between the bar areas, the sofas or the outdoor areas, while if you travel by hydrofoil you must compulsorily take a seat on the available seats.

Dogs must be leashed and muzzled, while other small animals must be placed in a carrier. Passengers with animals must remain in the areas reserved for them. Exceptions are made for guide dogs for the visually impaired. In addition, the transportation of pets accompanying passengers is subject to the health regulations established by the competent authorities.
