Ferry Alicudi

Alicudi is the westernmost island of the Aeolian archipelago, located north of Sicily in the Mediterranean Sea. Called "Ericusa" in ancient times because of the many heather plants that grow on its territory, it is the oldest and wildest of the Aeolian Islands, together with the island of Filicudi.

This island is the perfect destination for tranquility and solitude lovers: the small village is mainly developed on the port and has a few dozen inhabitants. On the island there is only a grocery store, a post office, a small bar and a single hotel with restaurant.

Alicudi is an island of lush nature and crystal clear sea, there are no real roads, only beautiful trails that can be done exclusively on foot. Not to be missed is the path of "Contrada Tonna" that runs along the cultivated terraces from which visitors can enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

The shipping companies Liberty Lines and Siremar offer connections to Alicudi, taking passengers quickly, comfortably and safely to this paradisiacal island.
