Anek Lines is a Greek shipping company, founded in 1967 in Chania, on the island of Crete, with the help of small Cretan shareholders driven by the need to improve connections between Crete and the mainland.
In 1970 it began its first passenger ferry service connecting the ports of Piraeus and Chania, later the fleet was enriched with larger and larger ferries and new connections to Italy would be established as well.
After a long and steady growth, in the late 1990s Anek Lines became one of the leading Greek companies on the Aegean and Adriatic Sea routes.
If you are departing from Italy, choose from the ports of Ancona, Venice or Bari. Daily departures are available to Igoumenitsa and Patras, with a stopover in Corfu during the high season.
If you depart from Greece, you can travel between the Aegean islands aboard Anek Lines, with connections between the main islands and between Crete and Piraeus.

Anek Lines Offers and Conventions:
Child Discount: Children under 4 years old (infant) pay a lower fixed fee per route. Children between the ages of 4 and 16 are entitled to a 50% discount on the adult fare of the chosen accommodation.
Young Discount: 20% discount on the passenger fare for all passengers between the ages of 17 and 25.
Senior Discount: 20% discount on the passenger fare for all passengers aged 60 and over.

⛺ Camping on board is available only during peak season, it will allow you to travel while staying inside your RV, taking advantage of shower facilities, bathroom and electricity connection. You will also have free access to all areas of the ship such as bars and restaurants.
🛏️ Onboard accommodations respect the needs of all passengers. You can travel in a deck passage, in an armchair or choose privacy and comfort by traveling in a cabin. Choose from double, triple, quad or luxury cabins that will allow you to cross the sea between Italy and Greece in total comfort.
🐾Are you traveling with your pet? On Anek Lines ferries it is welcome! Pets will be able to travel in the on-board kennels or together with you in the special Pet-friendly cabins. These will need to be booked in advance, as well as it is mandatory to report the presence of your pet when booking. If you are traveling on a "camping on board" basis, he will be able to stay with you in the RV. In public areas it will have to wear a muzzle and leash at all times or stay in the pet carrier provided.
♿ Anek Lines ships all have cabins designed to accommodate passengers with reduced mobility. It is advisable to book this type of cabin well in advance given the reduced availability. All ships have escalators and elevators to access all areas of the ship.
Do I have to check in even if I have already booked?
Yes. Check-in is mandatory for every passenger, including children and infants. Make sure to arrive at the port at least 3 hours before your departure time: at the port ticket counter you will need to show the ticket you received via email from MrFerry and a valid ID for each passenger in oder to collect your boarding passes.
If you are traveling with one or more vehicles you will need to have with you the vehicle registration for each one. If you are traveling with the camping on board formula, this must be approved as a camper or caravan.
