Corsica Linea All departures and offers on MrFerry!

The shipping company Corsica Linea was officially established in 2016, acquiring part of the former French company SNCM, which went bankrupt a few months earlier. This was followed by the purchase of Maritima Ferries, and over the next few months the company reorganized its fleet, which consisted mainly of a number of SNCM ships.

After a period of complete redesign, the ships display their new line in the colors white and red and the iconic black moor's head, symbol of Corsica and also the logo of the ferry company. In 2018, the headquarters of Corsica Linea, until then located in Marseille, was moved to Ajaccio, and in the same year a temporary agreement was signed with La Méridionale, according to which the ferry Piana will be chartered and will continue the service on the Corsica Linea route Marseille - Porto Vecchio.

Today, the Corsica Linea shipping company is pursuing a policy of sustainable development, which includes special consideration for its crew as well as for the passengers before, during and after the crossing, and the continuous improvement of the performance of the ships in order to reduce pollution and promote the social and economic growth of the areas served.

Corsica Linea Fleet and on board services

Corsica Linea sailings are operated by a modern fleet of 8 ferries that connect mainland France (port of Marseille) with Corsica (ports of Bastia, Porto Vecchio, Ajaccio and Ile Rousse), with Sardinia (port of Porto Torres), with Algeria (ports of Algiers and Bejaia) and with Tunisia (port of Tunis).

During the Corsica Linea crossings there are many facilities available, including snack bar, restaurant, cafeteria, stores, kennels, infirmary, TV and Wi-fi, children's playgrounds and entertainment, and on some ferries there are also swimming pool and solarium.

Passengers can choose, depending on the ship they are traveling on, whether to travel on deck passage, which is certainly the most economical solution, or on the comfortable recliner assigned for the duration of the trip. Alternatively, there are cabins of different types, inside or outside, shared or exclusive use, with private bathroom with shower or only toilet and sink.

On Corsica Linea ferries, disabled passengers or passengers with reduced mobility are provided with the necessary assistance from the on-board staff, as well as elevators and reserved parking spaces, specially equipped cabins, seats and toilets, and additional reserved seats in common areas.

All pets are allowed on board Corsica Linea ships, but they do not have access to common areas and must have vaccination papers or a health passport. Dogs must travel exclusively in kennels, while the other smaller animals can stay in their own pet carrier.
