The first ferry sailed on July 8, 1974, from San Sebastián de La Gomera to Los Cristianos. To this day, the ferries Fred. Olsen Express travel uninterruptedly between the Canary Islands with six sea routes for passengers and cargo, without having lost sight of the main objectives of quality and speed.

The Fred fleet. Olsen Express consists of 10 fast, state-of-the-art ferries, including the world's largest trimaran.
Aboard the ferries:
All ships have bars, restaurants, comfortable and bright armchair lounges, air conditioning, luggage storage, nursery, children's play area, TV, wifi, solarium, motorcycle and bicycle parking.
Only one ferry, the Marie Curie smart-ship, employed for routes between the Canary Islands and Huelva, offers the possibility of booking passenger cabins and with animal access.
Passengers with disabilities:
On board the ferries Fred. Olsen Express you will travel barrier-free. The company offers a free assistance service. You must book the service when you purchase your ticket or up to 48 hours before your trip.
Many of the ferries have parking spaces near the access ramps. To use them, you must have a parking card for people with reduced mobility and request it from the crew.
Pets:
Pets are welcome on board! You will need to enter your pet at the time of booking. When boarding make sure you have your dog's health card and liability insurance with you, they may be required.
Your pet can travel in a carrier if it weighs less than 10 kg. If it weighs more, it must travel in the Pet-Suites, located on the outdoor aft deck. You can visit them for the duration of the crossing.
For longer crossings, the company provides both Pet-Friendly cabins and an on-board kennel where you can access them during the trip.
Vehicles:
It is possible to bring your own vehicle on board the ferries, but be sure to book well in advance, because in high season and on weekends, availability sells out quickly and prices can increase.
